Tonia (She,Her/s) is a trauma informed reflective supervisor, DEIB consultant, trainer, and coach. She is an advocate, who is always learning. Tonia’s work centers on strengthening the conditions for BIPOC communities to build decision making power, foster healing, and make space for the voices of established and emerging BIPOC leaders and white allies. Tonia is a strong visionary with an ability to identify and address the micro- and macro-level issues that drive organizational change and work toward strategic implementation. She is a Program Director at the Irving Harris Foundation where she supports the work of two special initiatives the Professional Development Network (PDN) and the Diversity Informed Tenets. Tonia holds a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a Masters in Special Education from Bank Street College.
