Janet Cizek, MS, LP, LADC NCG-ll, CM

Owner, President & CEO, The Center for Therapeutic Interventions PLLC

Ms. Janet Cizek earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has worked in the behavioral health field for many years gaining experience as a case manager & clinical therapist before receiving her Professional Counselor License (LPC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in 2003. After identifying a need for her community to have a holistic, integrated, “one-stop-shop” outpatient counseling agency treating families, Ms. Cizek co-founded The Center for Therapeutic Interventions (CTI) in 2005, which now employs over 25 therapists. Janet has diligently strived in the Tulsa community and the state of Oklahoma to develop new counseling modalities, innovative service deliveries, and expand treatments for individuals and families suffering with mental health, substance use, and problem gambling disorders. In paving the way for the state with national trends by integrating wellness, recovery, primary and behavioral healthcare all in one counseling agency, CTI was one of the first agencies in Oklahoma to receive the new ODMHSAS certification for Comprehensive Community Addiction Recovery Center (CCARC). Although, Janet is a managing partner and the Chief Executive Officer at CTI, she continues to provide direct counseling services to clients and their families and reduce the stigma of behavior health disorders at community outreach presentations. Ms. Cizek is also a board member of Oklahoma Substance Abuse Service Alliance (OSASA) and serves as President-Elect advocating for treatment providers and consumers across the state. Janet Cizek is happily married, and is the proud mother of two daughters in high school and a son in a doctoral program in Arizona.
