Eileen K. Beazley, EdD

Director of Mississippi Head Start Collaboration Office, Office of Governor Reeves

Eileen K. Beazley, EdD serves as the Director of the Mississippi Head Start Collaboration Office for Governor Tate Reeves. She received her BS in Child Development and MS in Family Consumer Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi and earned her Doctorate in Early Childhood Education from Jackson State University. Dr. Beazley has a strong background of experience in a variety of settings in early childhood education. She has served as a classroom teacher, director of a licensed childcare facility, technical assistant specialist, director of family and community engagement for a Head Start Agency and an executive director of a state-wide non-profit. Dr. Beazley’s passion for this work is fueled from a collective perspective. The decades of experiences, relationships, and collaborative partnerships continue to help guide Dr. Beazley to learn more about how to better serve children, families, educators, and communities as part of the education system.
