Alison received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998 from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Health Administration from the University of Chicago in 2004. She is a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist and the founder and CEO of M Street Pediatric Therapy. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Northwestern and teaches Pediatric Physical therapy in Early Intervention at the University of Illinois at Chicago. M Street provides home-based pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to infants and children throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Alison and her team are currently the clinical research team for the I-ACQUIRE study and project INITIATE. I-ACQUIRE is investigating interventions for children with hemiplegia, and project INITIATE is exploring community collaborations to improve the developmental outcomes of high-risk infants.
